manufactory at Kiev Fashion Days 

manufactory has made own art fashion project under the Kiev Fashion Days on March 25-27 . 

            We've made a special zone manufactory with inner sense of fashion in a separate space. The main event was fashion show of the Swedish brand Cheap Monday, which actually opened Kiev Fashion Days. These brands have become desirable in the wardrobe of many Kiev fashionistas because of its universality and uniqueness.

SS 2011 COLLECTION

"This time we wanted to try out a different aesthetic; sparkling, extrovert and shameless. For inspiration we looked at Latin denim fashions, Italian diamonté and LA celebrity taste. To get a contemporary feel in the collection we have also worked with a cleaner, more fabric focused and minimalistic look. A combination of the exaggerated and the minimalistic creates the balance for SS11."

Special projects and installations: 

Designer Ruslan Panchuk, known master of "throwing beads", fashion escapism and fetish objects, has presented a new collection of dresses and acsessories. As always in single copies. 

As clothing and accesories of Ruslan Panchuk is far from fast fashion, but rather claim to be collectable objects, after the show we made an installation, where all guests of  KFD were able to consider of the designer's creation. 

Shoe designer Ali has presented a live installation. 

We support him because to manufactory is very close idea of uniqueness, craftsmanship and a true revival style. 

Shoe designer Ali presented handmade men's and women's shoes in his collection. 

Models in the shows were in shoes from Ali’s collection. Thus, this art - installation has combined a live demonstration of making shoes and fashion-presentation of the complited product. 

Video instalation of Whatever brand 

Especially for the Kiev Fashion Days Whatever prepared video installations. We looking for interesting Ukrainian fashion brands to be sold in the manufactory with Cheap Monday, Weekday and H&M. 

Now it's WHATEVER. 

WHATEVER - Ukrainian-Russian fashion brand launched in July 2010. 

For collection they used natural fabrics and fibers - wool, cotton, silk, natural strain which emphasizes style. 

Minimalist style and color with tactile sensations make clothes WHATEVER very desirable in this season. 

Presentation of manufactory music X KFD 

Our corner was the base of music and fun for the whole KFD! We made special event  - presentation by label manufactory music of the music disc for the Kiev Fashion Days! 

All guests could get theirs own copy in the zone manufactory for free. 

Music for the manufactory mu X KFD was made by Hardtennis.

                                   These are some test shots for our magazine project for the room. We had everything organised with make up artist, hair stylist, photographers, the ideas for the shoot, but at the last minute we ran into some misunderstanding with the stylist. At the end the shoot everything went well with all the efforts of everybody got paid off with some great results. The shots seems quite different to me as I was using a new camera for the shoot and new lightings and I wasn't confident in all of them at first to be honest, but got good feedback from these shots, so I am quite happy now to even publish it here.
